Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited Group, the esteemed organization,
is engaged into social activities. It has a trust "Smt.
Jatnobai Karmachandji Rattan Paria Chouhan Charitable Trust"
which is located at Sadri, Rajasthan. Trust was
founded by Late Shri Pukhraj Karamchandji in
early 1990s. Sadri being a tribal area there was lack of proper
medical facilities for the poor at affordable cost. He had
noticed the pain of the poor people and lack of awareness about
health care amongst them.
To run a well equipped public hospital for providing free
medical relief to the poor, to carry out research in medical
science and to established medical institution for the
advancement of medical education in any system for providing
cure of human ailments.
The main objective of the trust is to provide
free medical relief to the poor and this is achieved by running
the hospital "Shree Vijay Vallabh General Hospital
Research & Rehabilitation Centre" at Sadri, inaugurated
by Smt. Shantaben P. Jain on 4th December 1992.
Hospital has 50 beds, advanced operation
theatre, Pathological lab and modern machines in the ICU.
Hospital has been appreciated by the Government of Rajasthan for
having the best Team of Doctors. It is providing services to the
villagers of many remote areas in Rajasthan. Every year workshop
and seminars are conducted in which reputed specialists are
invited who give the knowledge of new findings and search in the
field of medicine, this encourages the Continued Medical
Education. District administration has praised the
hospital on various forums for its good work conducted for the
society. In February, 1992 the first Medical Camp was organized
for 5000 patients suffering from various diseases. In 1994,
Specialists were invited to treat the patients suffering from
Nose, Ear and Throat infections. In 1997, another special camp
was organized for heart related diseases. All the camps were
successful in achieving target of serving maximum number of
needy patients under one roof. Trust arranges such type of camps
from time to time to serve the society.
Trust contributed towards social responsibility at the time of
natural calamities like flood, draught, earthquake etc. During
draught Trust had taken several relief measures to help needy
people:
- Trust supplied water by tankers in draught affected
remote villages.
- Trust regularly supplies fodder to Cattle suffering
from starvation.
- Terrible earthquake in Gujarat on 26 January, 2001
gave severe pain to mankind. Many people lost their lives
and property in this disaster. Several of them got sever
injuries like multimode factures etc. Patients were
treated free of cost in the hospital.
Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited is also involved in feeding
fodder to cattle. It also takes care of water related problem
that exist at Sadri and various other places in Rajasthan.
